Apple TV can sometimes end up in IR control instead of IP control. This can happen if the pairing step failed. You can check the control type by going to Settings > Devices > Apple TV and checking "Control Type". If it is set to IR, please follow the steps below:
1. Restart Apple TV by going to Settings > System > Restart
2. On Caavo, open Settings > Devices > Apple TV and select "Change Device"
This will walk through setup of the Apple TV again. Be sure to complete the step where Caavo guides you to pair to Apple TV using a PIN. If there are issues completing this step, please give support a call so we can troubleshoot the issue.
