Here are the things you'll be able to configure under General Settings:
- Location: This is the name that will appear for your Control Center for use with Caavo Telescope.
- Change Zip: The Zipcode that is used to load live TV listings for your area.
- Show hints for Remote button touch: Enable or disable hints that appear on screen when touching a button on your Control Center remote. Click here to learn more.
- Show hints for volume control: Enable or disable hints that appear on screen when pressing a volume button on your Control Center remote. Click here to learn more.
- Show web results in Search: By default, search results will also include results from YouTube. This option allows you to disable showing those results.
- UI Timeout: This controls how long the Control Center UI will stay on-screen if there is no activity.
- Calibrate screen: This will allow you to re-configure the size of Control Center's UI. Click here to learn more.
- Caavo Telescope: Enable or disable Caavo Telescope. With this disabled, your other Control Centers will not be able to see a preview of your screen.
- Auto-open apps for movies: When enabled, will automatically open apps on your devices when you use the "watch" command to start movie playback.
- Auto-open apps for shows: When enabled, will automatically open apps on your devices when you use the "watch" command to start show playback.
- Auto-start playback in all Apps: When enabled, will automatically begin playback of content launched for most apps.
- Nightly restart on inactivity: This option will tell Control Center to reboot each night if no activity is detected.
- Power system on when device activity is detected: Control Center can detect when there is activity on the source devices attached to it. By default this is enabled, and Control Center will wake up and turn on your display when activity is detected.
- Switch to device on System power up: Choose which device you want Control Center to switch to when first starting up. By default it will display the last device you were using.
