Control Center currently has the ability to scan DVR shows from TiVo, Xfinity, DirecTV, Dish, Fios (Single DVR), and Spectrum DVRs for inclusion in search results. Upon first setting up, your DVR's shows may not be immediately included in search results (especially if you have a lot of recordings).
DVR scanning happens automatically after Control Center has been turned off for a while, but it needs to have the ability to control the DVR at all times. If your DVR is completely powered off, or closed in a location that Control Center is unable control it when you aren't watching, DVR scanning will fail and those shows will not be available in search results.
