IR Device Control Failed - Should I Skip to Proceed?

If your device control fails during setup, you can skip this step, but keep in mind Control Center won't be able to control that device. You will still use Control Center to switch to the device, but you will need to use that device's remote to control it.

There are a couple of things you can try before skipping the device control setup:

- Check IR line of sight between Control Center and the IR window (usually front) of the device you are setting up. Make sure your device can see the Control Center, and Control Center can see your device.
- Connect an IR emitter. The emitter should be located directly in front of the IR window of the device you are setting up.
