Search Does Not Return Expected Search Results

If search isn't returning results that you are expecting to see, please check the following:

  1. While on the search results screen, make sure to move the highlight box to the left and go through all the options (Live, Upcoming, Streaming, Web, DVR, On Plex).
  2. If it is DVR recorded content that is missing, note that not all DVR's recorded content can be searched. Control Center can only import a limited number of entries (see Note 2).
  3. If you have "Safe Search" enabled, try to disable it and see if the search results change.
  4. Restart your device. 
  5. Restart your router. 
  6. Restart your Control Center by pressing the Caavo button > Settings > Restart. 

Note 1: DVR search results will only be shown for Supported Providers

Note 2: Control Center will interact with the DVR for a maximum of 10 minutes to scan the list of show titles pulled from the DVR - typically anywhere from 75-100 show titles can be scanned in that timeframe.
