Why Do All My Devices Power On Each Time I Do Setup?

During Setup, all devices will need to be powered on for Control Center to be able to identify and configure them. You will also test the ability for the Control Center remote to control your devices, which requires you to test on-screen responses from your device.

After Setup, during normal operation, your devices will only be turned on when you switch to that device.
