Snow Screen / White Noise When Switching Device Sources

In a unique case the TV display may show white noise, sometimes also called 'snow screen', when Control Center is switching from one source device to another (ie. switching from Xfinity to Roku).  If you find that the white noise persists for more than a few seconds and that your Control Center is not responsive to remote control commands, you may have to re-initialize your connection to the TV.  Please follow the following steps...

Reset Video Connection

  • Locate the 'Sources' button on your Control Center remote.
  • Long press the 'Sources' button and release once you see that Control Center has restarted.
  • If this does not resolve your issue you can try the steps below.

If you are using a Caavo Spotlight HDMI cable...

  • Locate the Spotlight HDMI cable that is connected to the 'output' port on your Control Center.
  • Momentarily press the LED button on the cable connector.

If the above does not work, please try the steps below...

  • Locate the Spotlight HDMI cable on your TV's HDMI input port that Control Center is connected to.
  • Momentarily press the LED button on the cable connector.

If you are using a regular 3rd party HDMI cable...

  • Locate the HDMI cable that is connected to the 'output' port on your Control Center.
  • Unplug the HDMI cable, wait for a few seconds, and plug it back in.
