If you find that your Control Center is not responding to button presses from the remote, here are a few things to try:
The Control Center remote has a built-in accelerometer so it can detect when it is picked up. Once the remote goes to "sleep", usually after being set down for more than 10 seconds, it will not respond to button presses until it is picked up or moved. This allows the batteries to last as long as possible.
If the LED is not coming on at all after moving the remote and pressing a button, try switching out to a fresh set of AAA batteries. No LED flashes at all indicates that the batteries have died.
If the remote LED is continuously flashing blue, you will need to re-pair the remote back with Control Center. There are two ways to do this:
- Press and hold the Caavo and Back buttons together on the remote until the LED flashes green and red. This will put the remote in to pairing mode. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Short press and then long press the button on the top of Control Center for 10 seconds until LED on Control Center blinks once. You will also see the remote pairing screen appear on the Control Center. Follow the on-screen instructions.
