Connecting Source Devices to Control Center
Your source devices are anything that plays video on your TV. This includes pay TV cable or satellite boxes, streaming devices like Roku or Apple TV, and game consoles like Xbox One or PS4. You can also connect things like security cameras or HTPCs.
Connecting your source devices is simple: just unplug their HDMI cable from your TV or AVR, and reconnect them to the HDMI input ports on Control Center in any order. When you begin setup on Control Center, ensure that all your devices are powered on, and make sure to have all your remotes handy.
Connecting to Control Center's Output port
Connecting the OUT HDMI port on Control Center can vary slightly depending on your setup. Please read the steps below if your source devices were directly connected to your TV or were connected to an AVR or soundbar. Also see diagram below.
Source Devices Connected to TV:
If your source devices were directly connected to your TV, then you can simply connect those devices to the inputs on Control Center, and then connect an HDMI cable from the OUT HDMI port on Control Center to one of the input ports on your TV. Make sure to switch to that input on your TV. Note: if the input HDMI port on your display says "ARC", do NOT use that input.
Source Devices Connected to AVR or Soundbar:
If your source devices were plugged into HDMI ports on your AVR or soundbar, then you should leave your AVR or soundbar connected to your TV. You will need to unplug all your devices from the AVR or soundbar and connect them into Control Center. Then connect an HDMI cable from the OUT HDMI port on Control Center to one of the input HDMI ports on your AVR or soundbar. Make sure to switch to that input on your AVR or soundbar.
