The ability to set a recording within Live and Upcoming search results from Control Center, requires IP control. If your Dish or DirecTV box was setup to use IR Control, switch it to IP if possible within Control Center Settings > Devices > Dish or DirecTV > Control Settings > Change Control Type. Some devices such as Xfinity can only be controlled via IR, so setting recordings directly from Control Center's search results on these devices is currently not possible(You will need to navigate to the device to set up a recording).
