Try pressing the Power button on your Control Center remote one more time. For most setups, this should switch your TV and AVR to Control Center's input. You can also try pressing the CAAVO button on the remote, but that will only work in some setups (if CEC is enabled on both the TV and AVR).
If this still doesn't work, check Control Center to see if your AVR is set to CEC for power control (settings > devices > [AVR Name]). If it is, try changing to a different control type by running test control and telling Control Center the CEC power test failed, even if it is working.
Verify that your TV does not have a setting to default to a specific HDMI port at power on. Some TVs will automatically detect and switch inputs to the active HDMI in-use, while others will not. If your television isn't defaulting to the correct HDMI input, you can typically tell your television, in the settings menu, which input should be the default when the TV powers on.
Since all TVs differ, you will need to go into the settings of the TV and find the appropriate setting. On the TV we tested, go into Settings, then System, then Power, and finally Power On. Here you will pick which HDMI input you want the TV to default power on to. Your television may have a different menu system to do this.
