TV Switches to Wrong Input When AVR Turns On

Try pressing the Power button on your Control Center remote one more time. For most setups, this should switch your TV and AVR to Control Center's input. You can also try pressing the CAAVO button on the remote, but that will only work in some setups (if CEC is enabled on both the TV and AVR).

After enabling CEC in your AVR's internal settings you will need to reset up your TV and AVR settings. You can do this by pressing the Caavo button > Settings > Devices > TV > Reset output > then follow the onscreen instructions.

Verify that your TV does not have a setting to default to a specific HDMI port at power on. Some TVs will automatically detect and switch inputs to the active HDMI in-use, while others will not. If your television isn't defaulting to the correct HDMI input, you can typically tell your television, in the settings menu, which input should be the default when the TV powers on.

Since all TVs differ, you will need to go into the settings of the TV and find the appropriate setting. On the TV we tested, go into Settings, then System, then Power, and finally Power On. Here you will pick which HDMI input you want the TV to default power on to. Your television may have a different menu system to do this.
