How to Use the Sleep Timer

Control Center’s sleep timer works just like other sleep timers that you have seen on your devices. The difference is that Control Center will not only turn itself off, but it will turn off your TV, audio & video receiver/soundbar as well as any other devices that you have connected to your Control Center.

To set the timer, simply hold down the MIC button on the Control Center remote and say “Set sleep timer for ## minutes/hours” and you will see a confirmation on your screen letting you know the timer has been set.

You may cancel the sleep timer by saying “Cancel sleep timer”.  You will see a confirmation on your screen letting you know the timer has been canceled.

These commands also work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant devices.

  • "Alexa, tell Caavo, set sleep timer for ## minutes/hours"
  • "Alexa, tell Caavo, cancel sleep timer"

After confirmation, there is no further visual indication of the sleep timer.
